How to get there
Take transit to Lincoln Av/Woodbury Rd, walk north on Lincoln and turn left at Ventura St to the trailhead. [street view]

There are unlocked restrooms in McDonald's at the bus stop, and a grocery store a block north of the bus stop. There is water on the Gabrielino trail 1.3 miles from the trailhead and a toilet 2.5 miles from the trailhead at Gould Mesa. Metro Micro rideshare is available in this area.
SFV shortcut (weekdays)
Take transit to Oak Grove Dr/Foothill Bl.
The 1 mile trail into the arroyo starts behind the welcome sign at Oak Grove & Foothill. Walk north and enter this gate between the stables and fire department. Follow along the JPL fence to the bridge. Cross over the bridge to the trail.

How to get there
Take transit to Eaton Canyon Nature Center. Walk north on Altadena to the park entrance and follow the drive to the trailhead.

In case of high water at the trailhead, Mt Wilson Toll Rd and Altadena Crest trail can be reached from the Pinecrest gate. From the park entrance walk up Altadena Dr, turn right at Crescent then right at Pinecrest to the gate. (total 1.6 mile) [street view]

Take transit to Colorado Bl/Orange Grove Bl. Walk north on Orange Grove; turn left at Holly St, left at Arroyo Dr and left at Arroyo Bl. Follow Arroyo Bl to the trailhead at Westminster Dr.

To the south trailhead
Take transit to Chestnut Av/Comet St. Walk .4 mi NE on San Pascual Av. to San Pascual Stables. Turn left into the stables parking lot and walk to the trailhead at the north end of the lot.
